Open House at World's End 2013 | |

Once again the World's End Estate will be participating in this year's ''Open House London'' event. Residents will be conducting tours of the World's End Estate on the afternoons of the 21st and 22nd of September. The estate's entry in the Open House London brochure reads as follows: World's End Estate Walk Meet: Sat 1pm, 3pm and Sun 2,30pm, 4.30pm at 16 Blantyre Street SW10 0DS. Duration 2 hours. Designed by Eric Lyons and constructed in the mid-70s, the World's End Estate is a deliberate architectural attempt to not only overcome many of the issues of previous high-rise developments, but also to eliminate monotonous and bland facades through the use of alternative designs and materials.
