Open House at World's End 2014 | |

Once again the World's End Estate will be participating in this year's ''Open House London'' event. Residents will be conducting tours of the World's End Estate on the afternoon of the 21st of September. The estate's entry in the Open House London brochure reads as follows: World's End Estate Walk Meet: Sunday 21st at 2.30pm and 4.30pm at 16 Blantyre Street SW10 0DS. Duration: 2 hours. Designed by Eric Lyons and constructed in the mid-70s, the World's End Estate is a deliberate architectural attempt to not only overcome many of the issues of previous high-rise developments, but also to eliminate monotonous and bland facades through the use of alternative designs and materials.
The Residents Association had previously prepared a fact-sheet for Open House events, copies of which are available for download.
