TMO call AGM

The TMO (Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation Limited) has called an Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The AGM is scheduled to take place at 6.30pm on Tuesday 17th of October 2017 at the Royal Garden Hotel, 2-24 Kensington High Street, London, W8 4PT.

Resident members of the TMO should have received their paperwork for the AGM.

The TMO Board have tabled four ordinary motions and one special motion. Two of the ordinary motions and the special motion are in relation to the planned termination of the TMO's contract with the Council and the winding down of the company.

The WERA Committee is currently examining the motions carefully and has already sought a legal opinion. Once the Committee has reached a view with regards to the motions tabled it will be posted on this website.

UPDATE: It has proved impossible for the borough's Resident Associations to agree on a single view or recommendation with regards to the motions being tabled at the TMO AGM. As such TMO members should vote in accordance to their own views in relation to the intent behind, and most likely outcome of, the various motions. It has also been suggested that TMO members might wish to propose and vote for an adjournment of the AGM so that the motions might be studied in further detail prior to any vote.
