Council to introduce new Concierge Service

The Council has notified the World's End Residents Association (WERA) that it intends to introduce a new Concierge/Security Service for the estate in February 2020.

The Council will be writing to all residents with full details of the new service shortly, and before it becomes operational.

WERA has been advised that the new service will include regular patrols of the estate by trained and accredited security staff.

The service will eventually also include the management and operation of the new door entry and security system being proposed for the estate. The details of the new door entry and security system have yet to be finalised but the Council expects that works to install the system to commence before the summer. The Council will also be writing to all residents about these proposals shortly.

The Council believes that the new service, and the regular security patrols in particular, will help deal with the incidents of anti-social behaviour in communal areas that have become both more frequent and more serious over the last eighteen months.
