More Police for the World's End Estate

Policing & Crime

In the last Council Elections the Royal Borough promised to introduce Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) to the streets of Cremorne Ward. PCSOs have now started patrolling in all of Cremorne ward, including the World's End Estate.

Please note that Cremorne PCSOs:

  • Now work on the World's End Estate.
  • Do not substitute Police.
  • Have powers to deal with both adults and juveniles who break the law.
  • Are a permanent and additional Police presence for the World's End Estate and all the surrounding streets.
  • Supplement Police and work with them and can call on all the resources of the Metropolitan Police.
  • Serve their community and reflect the diversity of the community they serve.
  • Work with Police to support law-abiding residents in the fight against crime and anti-social behaviour.

Councillors Maighread Simmonds and Steven Redman are delighted to welcome them.
