Piazza Redevelopment Making Rapid Progress

Major Works

The proposed redevelopment of the World's End Piazza and World's End Place is making quick and significant progress. A revised proposal has been put together following the first round of public consultation last year. A second round of public consultation will now take place in early September.

The amended proposals for the redevelopment of the World's End Piazza and World's End Place will be presented at a public exhibition and consultation to be held at the Chelsea Theatre (on the World's End Piazza) on the 6th of September between 3.30pm and 6.30pm.

The proposals include the complete landscaping and resurfacing of the World's End Piazza, World's End Place, Edith Yard and World's End Passage, the transfer of day-to-day management of the World's End Piazza from the borough-wide TMO to the Council one the works are complete, and changes to the use and day-to-day management of the estate's car parks.

All residents are encouraged to participate in the consultation by visiting the exhibition in the Chelsea Theatre and providing the architects with feedback on the revised proposals.
